DI4MDs offers several educational programs, all totally free of charge.

Disability Insurance 101

Departments and groups are the primary folks who request this training. We review key disability insurance terms, what to look for in a policy, talk attendees through guaranteed standard issue (GSI) policies and how to determine if they’re eligible for one, and leave plenty of space for questions.

Guaranteed Standard Issue (GSI) Partner Institution Training

We offer custom training for our partner institutions who are eligible for our GSI policy with the Standard. This is a tailored version of the Disability 101 training specifically for physicians at these institutions, where we focus more on the differences between fully medical underwritten plans and GSI plans, and why folks who are eligible for them should strongly consider their GSI plans in their financial planning.

Female Physicians Sessions

If you’re looking for a space to talk openly about how disability insurance fits into family planning, parenting, or any of your other work-life goals as a woman, this is the session for you. Jenna leads these and keeps them primarily focused on questions directly from clients—she also brings her expertise about disability insurance broadly and is happy to deep dive on whatever topics attendees are most looking for guidance on.
